Surf teaching

As you guys and especially gals figured out by now, I am a surf teacher. I teach surf at freelance base, and also at several surf schools, the main ones being Surfana (Bloemendaal) and First Wave (Zandvoort) both in the Netherlands.

You might be surprised about the fact there are actual waves in the Netherlands. This is usually quite a surprise to even Dutch people. Both the whole of the Netherlands is coastline in the West and even a little bit in the North, so there are usually plenty of waves. Are they good? No, usually they are not world class waves as you might get in France, Portugal or Morocco. They can be surprisingly good, and from experience I can say if you are able to manage the North Sea waves and surf them properly, you will be surprised at how well you will be able to surf in less challenging conditions abroad!

The places I usually surf at are all the spots close to Amsterdam. They are Zandvoort (acces by train), Bloemendaal (acces by train and bus) and Wijk aan Zee (acces by car only, 30 mins drive). The best of these spots is Wijk aan Zee, which has a beautiful pier that makes the waves line up nicely. Zandvoort and Bloemendaal are beach breaks, can be very nice too and are a lot less crowded, great for learning!

I specialize in teaching surf to girls and woman of all ages. Being a woman myself, I can relate to physique, insecurities and fears from a peer level. I am ASI level 1 and SLSGB life saver certified.

Information & Prices:

Private lesson incl. gear: €100,- incl. VAT
This is a 2-hour surf lesson for 1 or 2 people including wetsuit, board and if necessary boots, gloves and cap. For absolute beginners to intermediates who need some tips and a lot of attention.
Available throughout the season from March - October in Zandvoort & Bloemendaal and occasionally on different locations throughout Europe, keep an eye on the blog on if and when!

Private lesson with own gear: €60,- incl. VAT
This is a 2-hour surf lesson for 1 or 2 people who have their own gear and want to get a little further with tips and a lot of attention. Available throughout the season from March - October in Zandvoort & Bloemendaal and occasionally on different locations throughout Europe, keep an eye on the blog on if and when!

Group lesson incl. gear €280,- incl. VAT
This is a 2-hour group lesson where you can put up to 8 people in one group, including wetsuit, board and if necessary boots, gloves and cap. Ideal for bachelorette, children's party etc.
Available throughout the season from March - October in Zandvoort & Bloemendaal and occasionally on different locations throughout Europe, keep an eye on the blog on if and when!

~ EXTRA SPECIAL ~ Intermediate / advanced lesson with L., who is a very experienced surf coach that can help you up your level and better your bottom turns and carves. Only available as private lesson with own gear. For more info contact me.  Prices from €60,- incl VAT
